Hi Ray, you want to be sinking in and holding the depth and not clearing that left hip early. The right hip eventually clears and turns the left hip. This video may also help with the pulls.

I think I have the feeling of the groins turning. Feels like they are scissoring. My question is on the down swing is the lead groin reversing to post up? Does the rear groin have to do anything? My misses with the short irons are pulls and with the driver slight pushes but straight.

If you are in the right position going back you can swing the arms down early and a long way before the body does any turning.
