The stage is set for this week’s Web.com Tour Championship at TPC Sawgrass (Dye’s Valley Course) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. This week is the final chance for players to climb into the top 50 in the Web.com Tour Finals Priority Ranking and secure TOUR status for 2014-15. Gary is with Rod Pampling at Jacksonville and he needs a good finish.
Rebecca Artis is also in Florida and will spend some time with Rod and Gary at Sawgrass tomorrow. The Road to the LPGA closes the 2014 season this week with the Symetra Tour Championship presented by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University at LPGA International, Jones Course. The 72-hole event begins on Thursday, September 18 and concludes on Sunday, September 21. Rebecca has run 3rd, 2nd and 2nd in her last 3 starts and is in form. Ten LPGA Tour cards will be handed out following the completion of the event to the top-10 on the Volvik Race for the Card money list.
