New Video in the Members Area

September 20, 2014 by admin 2 Comments

Gary Edwin Pre-setWe have just posted some new video in the Members Area! Setting the Club without it rolling or over-hinging is almost impossible without the right Body Shape at set-up. Gary has used the Pre-set drill with a number of his tour players and in a recent lesson with Jan Stephenson. The drill really helps if you are too wide going back (Check out Jan’s old swing in the video post below). Gary looks at her new swing andĀ talks about the origin of the Pre-set Drill, he also explains how to do it correctly.

I can and I do the preset without any problems, but I have asked a question about being a bit more handsy as a senior and what I meant by that ( I didn’t get an answer) is can I roll the forearms after impact rather than push the club head through with the right side so much. I takes a bit of pressure off my back. I have arthritis. I have been doing this and it works, so far. I remember reading Henry Cotton a long time ago I do not hinge the way he did but I do roll the forearms after impact. Through impact I maintain my right wrist angle. I hope this makes sense to someone.

Is anyone going to answer my question or is my Platinum membership up?
