Rod Pampling put on an awesome display of ball striking in the final round of the Australian Open at the Australian Golf Club in Sydney; Rod birdied five of his last six holes and finished in outright second on seven-under-par. Saw a lot of Rod on Thursday and Saturday. Looked great all week, ground it out when the going was tough and made some great birdies on Sunday arvo when the big names were fading. Well done to Gary and the team to for supporting him to a great result. Looking forward to Rod teeing it up at The Open next year, well deserved.
