Rod Pampling locks up his PGA Tour Card

September 26, 2016 by admin 1 Comment

THE PLAYERS -1st RoundRod Pampling finished 12th at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship in Ohio and has all but locked up his 2017 PGA TOUR card after finding some great form in the Finals. He finished T10 at the DAP Championship and T24 last week at the Albertsons Boise Open. PGA Tour Cards will be handed out to the top 25 players on the Finals money list and Pampling is currently 11th with the Web.com Tour Championship next week. It’s difficult to gauge exactly how much money it will take to finish in the top 25. The No. 25 man on the money list earned $33,650 in 2013, $36,311.66 in 2014, and $32,206.00 in 2015. He currently has $52,033.

I can’t wait to hear the sound Pamp’s club head makes at impact, when back on the big stage again. Nothing like the sound of a ball being compressed. Especially when by one of this country’s best ball strikers too. Chalk another one up for the good guys (AKA the right siders). Go you good thing!
