Rod Pampling in the US Open

Rod Pampling has way into the US Open field for next week’s event at Olympic Golf Club in San Francisco. Pampling finished in a share of 9th at his venue in Ohio after the 36 hole qualifier in difficult condition with rounds of 69 and 71. It will be Rod’s 6th US Open.

Pampling at Memorial

Rod Pampling made a birdie on his second last hole at The Memorial Tournament in Ohio to guarantee a place on the weekend. After a horror start, bogeying 3 of his first 4 holes, birdies on the 5th and 8th moved him to 2 over total and inside the cut which was eventually made at 3 over par.
